As some of you may know, CF is something very close to our hearts. Rowan, now aged 6, is the youngest of Hannah’s 3 boys who lives with cystic fibrosis, a genetic condition that causes a build-up of thick sticky mucus in the lungs, digestive system and other organs.
CF causes a wide range of challenging symptoms that affects his entire body on a daily basis.
There is no cure for cystic fibrosis, so people with CF must do treatments each day in order to keep them well.
We donate monthly to CF to help support Campaigns for life saving drugs like Trikafta, a breakthrough treatment widely heralded as having the potential to turn cystic fibrosis from a life-threatening condition, to a manageable condition.
It's currently not funded in New Zealand.
